Privacy notice
This notice explains how Omniya (“we”, “us”) handles personal information for the Omniya Concierge visiting doctor service. Omniya is the data controller for the information described here. Our address is 3a Montpelier Street, Knightsbridge, London SW7 1EX.
Information we collect
- Contact and booking details — name, phone number, location (hotel and room, or address), and callback details, collected when you or a concierge desk contact us.
- Medical information — the clinical records of your consultation, examination, treatment, prescriptions, test results and referrals.
- Payment information — processed by our payment providers; we do not store full card details.
How we use it
We use your information to provide medical care, maintain clinical records as required of a regulated medical service, process payment, and provide the invoices and receipts you need for insurance claims. With your consent, we may contact you afterwards about your care or services relevant to you; you can withdraw that consent at any time.
Legal bases
We process medical information under UK GDPR Article 9(2)(h) — the provision of health care by professionals subject to a duty of confidentiality. Booking and payment information is processed to perform a contract with you, and clinical records are retained to meet our legal obligations as a regulated provider.
Who we share it with
Your information is shared only where care requires it — the pharmacy dispensing your prescription, the laboratory processing your samples, or a specialist you are referred to — and with providers who process data on our behalf under contract. Nothing about your care is shared with your hotel beyond what you ask us to share. We do not sell personal information.
Retention
Clinical records are retained in line with UK requirements for medical records. Booking enquiries that do not lead to care are kept only as long as needed to respond.
Your rights
You may request access to your records, correction of inaccurate information, and — where applicable — erasure, restriction or portability. You may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk) if you are unhappy with how we handle your information.
